Our Mission Our mission is to empower youth, strengthen families, and uplift our community by providing safe, inclusive, and innovative recreational and enrichment programs. Through skating, mentorship, education, and wellness-focused initiatives, Waukegan One Love Skate & Family Resource Center is dedicated to creating positive opportunities, building confidence, and inspiring the next generation to thrive, grow, and rise with purpose.
Waukegan One Love Skate & Family Resource Center (WOLSFRC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth, families, and communities through recreation, mentorship, wellness, and opportunity. We provide safe, uplifting, and affordable programs designed to inspire confidence, build life skills, and strengthen family bonds. From youth skating events and enrichment workshops to after-school programming, civic engagement initiatives, and community partnerships, WOLSFRC is committed to offering a positive alternative for young people in Waukegan and beyond. Our mission is to create a safe, inclusive, and dynamic environment where every child feels supported, seen, and set up for success — on and off the skating floor.
